چکیده
• Systematic literature review of relevant research efforts focusing on AI for throughput bottleneck analysis. Presented a classification structure four categories: identify, diagnose, predict and prescribe. For each category, outlined state-of-the-art re: input data, modelling approach outputs. Provided 8 future directions to advance the field Outlined 7 recommendations adoption academic solutions by manufacturing companies. Identifying, eventually eliminating bottlenecks, is key means increase productivity in production systems. In real world, however, bottlenecks challenge. This due landscape complex factory dynamics, with several hundred machines operating at any given time. Academic researchers have tried develop tools help identify eliminate bottlenecks. Historically, focused developing analytical discrete event simulation approaches However, rise industrial digitalisation artificial intelligence (AI), explored different ways which might be used based vast amounts digital shop floor data. By conducting systematic review, this paper aims present into use To make work more accessible practitioners, are classified (1) (2) (3) (4) was inspired real-world management practice. The categories, diagnose focus analysing historical whereas prescribe also provides topics practical may further push boundaries theoretical

Disk storage technology still suggests large central disks because of their better price/capacity ratio and their performance characteristics: Accessing a remote fast disk over a local network can be made faster than accessing a local slow disk. Similar arguments apply to keeping other resources in a central place. Examples are high-speed laser printers, phototypesetters, tape drives, and numbe...
متن کاملInvited Review DNA-mediated artificial nanobiostructures: state of the art and future directions
DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid)-mediated assembly of nanometer and micrometer scale structures can have a profound impact in the fields of nanoelectronics and nanotechnology. Such structures can also find applications in microelectromechanical systems, hybrid bio-sensors, and the potential to continue the scaling of Moore’s law beyond the 50 nm node. While engineers and scientists have been long as...

Although ridesharing can provide a wealth of benefits, such as reduced travel costs, congestion, and consequently less pollution, there are a number of challenges that have restricted its widespread adoption. In fact, even at a time when improving communication systems provide real-time detailed information that could be used to facilitate ridesharing, the share of work trips that use rideshari...

The necessity of dealing with uncertainty in real wold problems has been a long-term research challenge that has originated different methodologies and theories. Fuzzy sets along with their extensions such as, type-2 fuzzy sets, interval valued fuzzy sets, Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets, etc., have provided a wide range of tools able to deal with uncertainty in different type of problems...
